All Welcome at the Fog Squad

Our new FOG Squad session starts on 1st September.  We are looking forward to seeing all the children again this session.

Friends are more than welcome to come and join us.

We were very lucky with the picnic weather managing to escape with only a few showers.

Our prize giving went well. Congratulations to Louise Anderson and Sarah Oliphant on receiving the Wightman Harrison Bibles. Thank you to Mrs Bushnell for presenting the prizes.

We are now on holiday until the 1st September, when we will be raring to start a new F.O.G Squad session.

Thank you to all the children, families and teachers for their support.

FOG Squad end of term

Thank you to Mr Graham for allowing us to use his field for our Egg Rolling Service. It was a great morning! We are looking forward to our annual picnic which will be held on Saturday 1st June at Carmyllie Memorial hall at 2pm. Everyone is welcome! Tickets will be on sale at the start of May. A.S.

FOG Squad Christmas Nativity Play takes shape

The children and adults have been working hard each week in preparation for our annual nativity. This year it is  called ‘Old Uncle Sam’ by Brian Ogden and will be performed on Sunday 16th December. The F.O.G Squad will then be on holiday until Sunday 13th January. We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas when the time comes. A.S.

Rolling our Eggs and Picnics

Our Egg Rolling went well and we were lucky the weather held up for us to roll our eggs. Thank you to Mr Graham who let us use his field again this year. Everyone had a great time.

Our F.O.G Squad year is nearly at an end and we are looking forward to the Picnic which will be on the 2nd June at Carmyllie Memorial Hall. Everyone is welcome and tickets will be for sale soon. A.S.

FOG Squad Nativity Play In Rehearsal

We are well underway to practicing for our annual Nativity which is this year called ‘Christmas Eve in the Toy Shop’ by Kaye Umansky, Sue Nicholls, Jonathan Trueman and Veronica Clark. This will be performed during the service on 18th December.  We look forward to seeing you there.


FOG SQUAD – End of Session

April 21st, 2011

Our FOG Squad session is nearly over and we have the Picnic and Prizegiving to look forward to.

The Picnic will be held on Saturday 4th June at 2p.m. at Carmyllie Memorial Hall. Tickets will be on sale on the 8th May. Everyone is welcome.

Our Prizegiving will be on the 5th June.

Thank you for all your support over this year and have a good Summer holiday when it comes.


The Journey From Christmas to Easter

March 1st, 2011

Christmas seems like a distant memory, but  I would like to say a big thank you to all the children for a great performance. A special thank you goes  to all the parents and grandparents for managing  to get the children to the church despite the weather. It was appreciated.

Easter is fast approaching and an Easter craft Sunday will be held on 27th March. The following three weeks will be a holiday, following that the Egg rolling service held on the 24th April. Normal F.O.G Squad will be held on 1st May.

Mr Graham has kindly allowed us to use his field again for our Egg Rolling Service. Thank you it is very much appreciated. Therefore we look forward to seeing you at 9.30am at Knowes Loan in Barry. Remember to bring a hardboiled egg and wear warm clothes.  Rolls, Tea & Coffee will be served at Newton Church after the Egg Rolling Service.

Nativity news from the FOG Squad

Our Nativity this year will be held on the 19th December and is called ‘Born in Bethlehem”’ by Sue Nicholls, We have been practicing very hard and are all looking forward to performing to you all then.

Our Hoolie is on the 18th December and tickets are on sale now from FOG Squad teachers.
