The new session of the Friendship circle began in September with an afternoon of music ranging from jazz to classical to brass bands, all arranged by Eric and his assistant Agnes.In October we enjoyed listening to original stories and poems courtesy of the Angus Writers Group. We also had an informative talk on lip reading.On November 11th our speaker was Jim Michie who told us about a charity called Dreamz for U.November 25th’s meeting is all about Laurel and Hardy.December 9th is our Christmas party, an event not to be missed-and look out for some surprises!After Christmas on January 13th we look forward to hearing about a day in the life of a librarian – no doubt Hazel Cook will have some interesting tales.
On a more serious note our speaker on January 27th will talk about osteoporosis.
