The Christmas party for members and guests was voted a great success. An updated version of pass the parcel was one of the many entertaining items compered by Susan Wilson.
Afternoon Tea was then served by the committee.
Folk singer John Knox, kicked off the new year with a programme of great songs and interesting stories behind the songs. Our next speaker was Callum Henderson who told of his work with Comfort Rwanda. He brought along slides to show the work being done to help children and the house building which was going on.
By the time you read this we will also have heard about the Floriade from Dorothy Fyffe and Care and Repair by Judith Leslie. Our programme for the remainder of the session will be:
